For all you NaNoWriMoor better known as the Freewrite November Madness Writers out there. Repeat after me:
I WILL CELEBRATE EVERY ACHIEVEMENT!
And here is a little pep talk from the NaNoWriMo site in case you haven't seen it
If you are writing with us or not. Life can seem overwhelming at times. Pick an achievement and celebrate. It could be as simple that you got up today and are still breathing!!
And writers, keep on going. Some days, the words aren't flowing and a week in seems to be when the novelty has worn off, the ideas that tumbled on the page are taking a short break from visiting our brains. But no worries. It all will come back!!
Even if you are only writing 10 words today. Celebrate!

This week, I've already experienced this and @kaelci mentioned it too - what Andrew Weir says (thanks for the link @mariannewest!):
"Sometimes, when you’re writing, things come together easily and you can crank out 2,000 words in an afternoon. But other times, it’s torture just to crap out 300 words. In those rough patches, here’s something to keep yourself going: When you read the pages later, you won’t be able to tell which ones you wrote with good flow and which ones were hard. You’re creating the same quality of work in both cases. You might not believe me, but the next time it happens to you, check the results later. You’ll see for yourself. So when you’re having a rough patch, it helps to remember that you’re making progress toward a goal. The words you’re putting down aren’t wasted."

For sure!! I think we are mostly too hard on ourselves and look at what didn't get done instead of what did...
That's a good point. One thing that helps me stay on track is making a to-do list. It's a visual reminder of all the things that I DID accomplish in a day. :-D
Yes. Lists work well for a lot of people. I end up making them too long and do all kinds of other things I didn't put on. I have a big whiteboard on the wall and use it to write down my day/list.
Sometimes I add all the extras and cross them out just to get that feeling of getting something done...

Yea! Go geddit party people! Step outside from time to time, get some fresh air, even if it's only for 5 minutes, really does make a difference to motivation and change the scene a bit :D

Keep it up! I'm supposed to be writing this month for NaNo, but I only wrote yesterday, so I've only got 1200 words T-T I'll keep pushing on though! Less pressure since I've won before.
