Excellent Initiative! I have a couple of doubts:
Can we only participate with writing done in 5 minutes or is any writing accepted?
Can we participate with January post? less than 30 days from being published of course.
You can participate with any literary work of more than 150 words, the talent of the author is rewarded, for that reason all type of works are accepted up to one month of antiquity.

Any writing is accepted. This does not have to be a freewrite. Actually, we encourage the entries to be more polished and worked on.
Yes, work less than 30 days old - January falls into that time frame.
