Today's prompt gave me a reason to make a silver purchase!
When @mariannewest gives me a prompt, I treat it as a #freewrite mission. Wednesdays prompt was monkey. 🐒 So when I read monkey, what my mind said was, "time to go to the local coin shop and buy something".
As soon as I walked in I asked what was new. Gary behind the counter hands me a box of slabs and says, have at it. I run across this graded NGC MS69 "Year of the Monkey" slab from 2016 a Niue $2 one ounce .999 fine silver coin.
Perfect, I got my monkey, I got my silver, I got my prompt, and I got my story. The perfect ending, to my fabulous Wednesday! 🐒

Nice coin! I have same one but yellow coloured.
I'm just happy it doesnt have any milk spots like Canadian silver.
