We used to visit you once a week, but I never got to see you.
Every Sunday after Mass, me and mamma took you flowers, but I never got to see you.
We stared at your name, missing you, but I never got to see you.
Then mamma left us in 2013, and we came to visit both of you, but we never got to see you.
Now we visit once a month, your names inscribed in marble. His on the front and hers on the back, and we have yet to see you.
We feel you watching over us, but miss your hugs and kisses.
As time passes just remember, I will see you on the other side, and love you forever.

@wonderwop, I’d add - feel you there behind us as we run beside the road - I’m a bit of a runner, and over the years, the pack encouraging me has grown.
I think this one will linger in my thoughts for a very long time.
