My sizzling sausage
The sausage was sizzling on the open pit, almost ready before the guests arrive. Today was the big tailgate party for the St. Patty's Day Parade. Every Irishman in San Antonio was here, both of them. The rest of the party consisted of people who like green beer.
We were stationed at the end of the parade so those walkers were ready for a beer and sausage on a stick. A crowd was gathering around the keg so we had to try and disperse the walkers, once they had been fed and quenched. It's hard to clear a group of wannabe Irishmen, when you're giving out free beer and sausages. Thankfully the popo came by and cleared everybody that had a cup in their hands.
A Happy St. Patty's Day was had by all! 🍀

What a mountain of sausages! This St. Patrick, I was sick with flu, but usually go out for a pint or two of black, and not green, Irish stout. No need to have an Irish ancestor...after all, we Italians and the Irish were similar: singers, poets, drinkers, Catholics, family men, and quarrelsome! Ahahah!
