Lucky elephant
I went hunting for an elephant after I purchased my new house, but not just any old elephant. I was looking for a lucky elephant.
A lucky elephant has his trunk raised and brass or bronze was my preference. He sits in the corner of the house, by the front door.
I'm not sure why he's by the front door but someone told me to put it there. Someone with a lot more elephants than me.
She has so many, she has no room for more. I guess everybody gave her elephants for her birthday and Christmas.
I tried to get her to give me one, but they all had a story and she wouldn't part with one. But I have one now, and all is right with the world. 🐘

I am glad that you found your elephant!! I have a friend who told someone in her family that she likes white elephant gifts and from then on, everyone gave her elephant related gifts lol
That sounds like something my family would start. I have to be careful when they ask what I want for my birthday or Christmas.
Yeah, you really have to watch what you say. My ex-husband’s Aunt Marian from Salem, Virginia, collected elephants with the raised trunks and you almost had to be careful where you sat or you’d be impaled. (She owned hundreds...to the point of ridiculous. That was 28 years ago. I hope at some point folks stopped giving her lucky elephants.)
