Little Johnny's Surprise

Little Johnny had been cutting his neighbor's grass every three weeks, since the day he turned thirteen. It was a small lot and he only cut the front yard, because Mrs. Lieberman had a huge pool in the back.
Her husband died in 2013, and the twins went off to college in 2014, somewhere in Italy. Little Johnny wasn't little anymore, but Mrs. Lieberman still call him that.
Johnny had just finished cutting and trimming the yard and went to the front door to let Mrs. Lieberman know he was done and see if she needed anything else.
Boy was he surprised when the twins answered the door in their robes. He hadn't seen them in four years and they were all grown up. Their bodies were all tanned, and he could tell they spent their time away from studying, at the beach.
Their mom had gone to the store, so the twins asked Little Johnny if he wanted to hang out by the pool and wait for her. He reluctantly declined, as he had cheerleading practice in an hour, and had to go get ready.
The twins told Little Johnny to hold on, and they both disappeared into the house. Soon they called out his name, "Johnny, come in here." He walked in the living room and saw their robes laying on the floor.
The girls started down the stairs with their big 'ol pompoms waving in the air, and handed Johnny a baton and said, "this is a surprise for your next cheerleading exercise, you can keep it." 😸

Ha!!! How kind of them to give him that baton! (And probably heart palpitations! 😉) Little Johnny was a lucky Johnny that day!
Right 😂
