Just another tax from the City of San Antonio
Yard sales used to be fun to have about 25 years ago, throw up the garage door and have at it.
Now the City of San Antonio has started to regulate garage sales. You have to purchase a garage sale permit, that is only good for 2 days, for each garage sale you have.
The cost of the permit is $16 and you can only have 4 garage sales a year, one each quarter. And don't even think about selling food, that's a different permit.
I you have 3 yard sales, one each quarter, and decide to have the 4th sale, that one is free, if you kept the receipts of the previous three sales.
You start your yard sale $16 in the hole, before you sell your first .50¢ mug. Best advice, have your sale at a friend's house that doesn't live in the City of San Antonio. Bunch of City idiots! 🇨🇱

That is terrible!! I can see to restrict it to a few a year - but to charge for a permit!! Agree with you! city idiots!!
I don't get it but of course they didn't let us vote on it.
