Granny's Jewelry
I was visiting a good friend of mine the other day and I noticed a new picture on the wall, from across the room. 🖼
I asked Nancy where she got it and she said she made it. She had used the most unique medium an artist could ever think of using, her Granny's jewelry. 📿
See Nancy is not a big jewelry wearer, so when she inherited all her grandma's jewelry, she decided that she wanted to display it in a shadow box. ⌚
But, she went one step further and created a picture of a tree with the earrings, rings, gemstones, and necklaces. Most of the jewelry was costume, so she wasn't using expensive pieces, to create her masterpiece. 💍
Nancy doesn't know it yet, but soon she will be creating one of these for me! 😉

What a beautiful medium! FYI, there's a folk artist with works hanging in House of Blues venues in the US whose medium is the costume jewelry his mom was given while working as a housekeeper for the family of the founders of Coca Cola.

Thank you for helping Marianne.
Very nice and wonderful invented! We love handmade crafts! It's good that there are still people who walk away from the computer and pick up natural, or other material and create masterpieces ..
