Day-717-Freewrite Monday White Collar

I was never the type of guy who liked to work in a white collar job, I don't like wearing a tie or a suit. I'm more comfortable in shorts, year round. My coworkers at the post office always joked about me wearing shorts in December. "Aren't you cold?" came out of everyone's mouth when it was 22° degrees outside. Hey, I didn't work outside. The suffering for two minutes to walk into the building, was worth the eight hours of comfort while working with those bozos. When I was working in the lobby customers would ask me if I had any long pants, I'd tell them that my long pants were for weddings and funerals. It was always amazing to me that my coworkers didn't know how to dress to be comfortable, you live in Texas, wear layers. If you're hot, take something off, if your cold, put something on! Quit trying to make everybody adapt to your comfortable temperature and get to work!

Haha! I agree!!! Especially when I lived in San Antonio, I never put a pair of long pants on! Ever!!!
I am a shorts person and hate covering up my legs! :)

I don't mind long pants or shorts...as long as they are comfortable, but shirts and ties never fall in that category. Never. I really hate formal wear, and let's see how I'm going to find a job in the future... :P
I'll just hope that working at home will be wayyyyy more popular when it's my time, lol.
You should try wearing a skirt. Now THOSE are comfortable! And I'd like to see it.
