Less than a thirty minute drive from my house is a Texas wonder, Natural Bridge Caverns. Where the temperature is a constant 70° degrees during these Texas 100° days. I've lived in San Antonio since 1966 and I have to say that I've never been to the Caverns. I understand that the underground stalagmites and stalactites are an amazing sight to see.
Here's a photo of a newly forming stalagmite that's probably hundreds of years old in the making. The tickets to get into the Caverns is around $25 per adult, depending on which day you go on the tour. If these 100° plus degrees days continue this summer, I may have to finally break down and go check out this natural wonderland.
