Well guess what time it is in Texas? It's time to get out and vote for your favorite politicians.

These biggest waste of printed paper started arriving through the mail, about a week ago. Is it really necessary to send the same mailer out everyday? Will there be more information about the candidate that will help me choose the best person for the job?

Or will it just be bashing information about the opponents. The ugly ads will start up next week after the early voting is over, to try and sway the voters on the fence.

I'm very happy that the Postal Service is benefiting from the political mailing season, but can we just have candidate that will do the job.

Whatever happens, I just hope we have a better voter turnout than 13%. Maybe we need to offer a coupon to a buffet, to get the masses out.

It's time for term limits!

Totally can relate to this!! Regional election is at the end if this month over here in my part if the world and I just want a candidate that actually works and not just spend resources on advertising themselves.

That sure would be a great concept. Someone that wins and actually does their job.

Will vote for food!!!!! The most generous and flavorful buffet gets my vote. Great idea!

I bet that would get the voters to the polls.

My husband used to be a postal worker and he HATED how much waste went out with all the junk mail every day. There was never a week when he came home and DIDN'T vent about it. The political stuff is soooo bad. :(

The political mailings get priority over the other mail, and we make the least amount of money on it.

I hope the elections don't end in a disaster like those we had 2 months ago in Italy: nobody could gain the majority and now we're still without a government.
At least, voter turnout was about 73%! We always had a high attachment to political life.

It's a shame that people here in San Antonio don't vote and then bitch about our leaders. Stupid idiots.

All of the political ads everywhere just frustrate me. I always wonder how much (if any of it) is actually informative and of that, how much is actually the truth.

I think the only truth that's on these mailers is how many children the candidates have. And I might be stretching it...😂

I wonder if anybody takes the time to read those mailings? From my hand to the recycle bin. That is a really bad turnout and yes, term limits are needed. Nice selfie Bruni! : )
