My mother was such a funny lady, she would never go outside without her lipstick on.
Always beautiful in public and everybody loved her.
She was a fabulous cook and was always ready with a snack when I went over.
She went to church every Sunday and volunteered at Boysville Thrift Shop as much as she could, weekly.
She never drove and it was a pleasure taking her everywhere she need to be, whether grocery shopping or her medical appointments.
Her doctors loved her so much, that they came to her funeral.
Today we spent time at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, honoring my mamma for Mother's Day.
We lost mamma in 2013 and Mother's Day is one of the hardest days of the year to cope with her passing.
Hug your mother today and everyday, then tell her you love her!
