Weekend Freewrite- 2-17-18-Single Prompt: mason jar
The savory blend of seasonings that tantalize, tease, and tempt your taste buds on your tongue, wanting more than a tidbit taste, leaving you longing and craving for mouthfuls of tastiness; more and more until your belly can no longer hold your desired amount of consumption, was handed down to the 4th generation, in 2 mason jars, each sealing an airtight secret. One blend of seasoning was held in a mason jar labeled "This" and the other was labeled "That." The white wine sauce mixed with the top secret blend of seasonings almost made the chicken breasts want to stand up and dance when the delectable sauce was poured over them.
The taste testers were seated and ready to indulge, but the first taste tester was the family chef; the 4th generation mom who was seated at the head of the table. They all watched intensely as her first mouthful went in...to her palate...and with her puzzled face said, "Nope. It needs a little more of "This" and a lot more of "That."

Ha! I'm glad that the secret blend made the chicken only "almost" stand up. I'd wonder what sort of drugs were in the mason jars otherwise!
