You call it a thief, because it stole part of your leaf.
You stare at the leaf, with sorrow and grief,
Then you find the gift left behind, your brain you rewind.
Art work with a green hue, was given to you,
The footprint, is now a memory imprint.
Your smile is brief, as you thank the leaf thief.
