World-Class Jackass

The landlord's husband thinks he's a badass,
Driving around the corner on two wheels, hauling ass,
Runs to the door, looking like he is ready to kick ass,
Yelling and screaming like a smart-ass,
Making only himself look like a jackass.
Is this the last time he will trespass?

Janice inherited her mother's house in a different city from where she lived and put it up for rent. A nice couple with an indoor cat rented the house. The living room screened window facing the street was a perfect spot for their cat to lie in. With the window open, their cat was able to get fresh air and to watch the birds and people to go by.

Catrina worked and her disabled husband was always home. A week after they moved in, it rained during the day. Not a hard rain: it sprinkled for 20 minutes. Mind you, the window was lined with a thick beach towel for the cat to lie on and if any rain was to come in, the beach towel would surely soak it up.

Only a few minutes passed after the rain began and the landlord's husband called Catrina at work, and screamed at her to get someone to close the front window. This man does not live nearby, so how did he know that the window was open?

Two weeks later it rained again. Seconds passed when a car with screeching tires came around the corner. The heavyset landlord's husband ran as fast as he could to the front door, banged on it with all of his might and screamed, "Open up! Open up, now!"

Catrina's husband was furious but opened the door and calmly invited him in. He said, "Look around and you tell me what windows in this house are open." All windows were closed. The landlord's husband walked away with his head held low and not a word came out of his mouth. He didn't even apologize.

About a month passed. Catrina was outside watering her flowers in the front of the house and she needed to go to the bathroom. She put the garden hose down on the front porch and when she came back a few minutes later, he was standing there. The landlord's husband yelled at Catrina and told her that the hose must be rolled up and put on the holder when not in use.

Two months later a new roof was being put on the house. The landlord's husband told the renters to move anything off the porch and around the house that might get broken or be in the way for the roofer's ladders. They complied.

The following morning the roofers arrived. Before Catrina left for work, she asked the owner of the roofing company if anything was in the way for their ladders. He told her that everything looked fine. Right then, the landlord's husband drove up. Red faced, he ran to the house and ripped out their garden, throwing plants and vegetables all over the yard like a mad man. Everyone gasped.

That was the last straw. Catrina called the landlord that evening and told her that she must stop her husband from stalking and terrorizing them. She also informed the landlord that cameras were installed and a "no trespassing" sign was put up, and if her husband came on the property, the police would be called.

Catrina has not seen him since.

He sounds like a real space cadet. He must have set up camp around the corner with a pair of binoculars.

I didn't even think about binoculars. What a jerk!

GEEZ. This really happened?

It sure did.
