Day 157: 5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday-Prompt: before midnight

I haven't been writing because my mind has been running on empty. I mentioned this to @f3nix and his reply inspired me. That shouldn't surprise you because his writings inspire so many.
This was his reply: "Your mind is never empty...you need to look well inside it."
This was my reply: "I now say that my mind is clouded because all I see is over a foot of snow here. Guess I will have to dig very deep to be able to look well inside it."
Thanks @f3nix! Now that the snow is finally melting and I can see small patches of green grass, I dug deep and l was able to look well inside my mind and found something.
Every night at 11:45 PM she broke out in a cold sweat and couldn't get warm, and was so uncomfortable that it brought her to tears. She was famished and always needed to eat something to calm her down. Soon after, she was filled with warmth and comfort, and was finally able to fall asleep.
Her symptoms began on her 39th birthday and didn't end until her 40th birthday. That was when she finally figured out what all of this was about. Her parents named her Midnight because she was born one minute before midnight. She came to the conclusion that every single night for a solid year she relived her birth, as a rebirth. This was the only way she was able put the horrid past behind her, and the only possible way to begin the second half of her life anew.

Oh wow. that is a long time of rebirthing!! I do hope that it is not a true story....
HaHa! Thankfully, not a true story. I am loving all of what is going on at the Freewrite House! I haven't been commenting but I have been upvoting. You will always have my support! : )
Thank you!!!
That tickles the heart @whatisnew.
Let the snow keep clearing, off to some scouting with today's prompt from @mariannewest.
Thanks and thanks for the prompt! : )
I feel your pain on the emptiness. Even with my Strange Family/Chozzy story I find myself lost for words. I want to end them so I can start a new story.
Glad the snow is going away. Makes me cold thinking about snow.
Now I want to snuggle with your snoozing kitty there. :-)
I wish you didn't know what it is like being at a loss for words, but now I know that you understand. Having said that and just catching up on Chozzy and your strange family, you did an awesome job. No loss of words there! I will be looking forward to your new story.
I despise the snow for so many reasons and can't wait for spring and summer weather. You stay warm and get some zzz's! : )
You as well my friend. Thank you for the heartfelt comment too. Be safe in the snow.
