Cardinal Rule

She knew her nightmare was a premonition; she was now on a mission.
She went to the site, but no people were in sight.
There was no opposition to the demolition.
Yes, the cardinal was there, just an imposition.
They broke the cardinal rule of Mother Nature; Do no harm.
No one cared; no one sounded the alarm.
