It really is more simple than it sounds! I just look at the word, then set a timer for 5 minutes and write whatever comes to mind! You should totally try it!!! I enjoy making graphics and covers for mine, some people like to add photos. You can edit or not (I hate editing, so I don't!) and then just post the link to your freewrite here if you want!
