The life of this piece is in the detail. The scene, as you see it in your mind, is real for me. I love the way you juxtapose the mission of the bird and the mission of its prey: both seeking food, both part of nature's balance. Winners and losers.
It was my first time writing this way. I learned the technique of threes. This was fun to write.
