Covered in a Plaid #Freewrite
He sat alone at 'their favourite' place. The wind hit his face in moanful soft breeze. He slightly opened his arms and half closed his eyes to welcome the cold wave on his perspiring skin.
He relaxed for a second when beautiful memories rushed back in a riveting replay.
This hill overlooking their small town was where he asked her to be his. It had drizzled a few hours before they made their way here but when she agreed, they rolled on the dew clinging green in a heated kiss.
Many lazy afternoons and a few special nights later, it became their spot. They came here to be themselves. Some occasions to resolve normal arguments that couples get dragged into. On special nights, it became their bed as they made love under stars.
He was mildly aroused by the memory of her delicate chocolate skin glowing against the faint sky light. How her thousands goosebumps felt under his burning touch. The satisfaction it gave his soul when they got lost in each as their desires took over.
That memory left the taste of her lips on his and her healing scent floating around. He was sure he wanted her for the rest of his life and the idea to do something about it overcome him.
He rose to invent something and saw her approaching from a distance covered in her African plaid. Nervously smiling, he dropped on one knee when she finally stood in front of him. She mouthed her yes in between tears as he slipped his just made flower ring.
She put her hand halfway in the air to admire his creativity in a chuckle. Then stepped one step back as though to give him a better view and dropped her plaid. Her naked reflected in his ever hungry eyes as he crawled towards her captivating frame.
