The babies were sick. All of the babies. Every baby born on April 30, 2022 and forever afterward (so far) were sick. They had a range of illnesses from the common cold to elephantism to froglegs to opium addiction. Sick, sick, sick little babies. It was a worldwide crisis. No one knew what started it, but it probably had something to do with the aliens arriving. Not that the aliens meant to cause any harm, oh no! The aliens have been nothing but benevolent. But there are many theories about what kind of spatial shift it caused when they entered Earth's atmosphere and what that did to the poor little babies all around the world. But the aliens are helping make it all better. They are going to take all the babies back to their planet and heal them. And hopefully the babies born the day after the aliens leave will be well again. We'll see.

Well, there's that. That's what that prompt got us. Now I'm just rambling to fill time. My hand kind of hurts. I am grumbly and mumbly today. Overtired, I know. I would like to go back and get enough sleep. But there is only forward. There is only now. Typety type type. Bummedy bum bum bum.
