When I grow, we are taught by mom and dad to cultivate our farm since it is our source of daily needs. Our main products in our farm were CORN. Most of us know to plant corn as well. My dad said, if we know how to eat, we should know how to plant.

Twice a year, we can have a good harvest with our corn if the weather is good, but if not, we need to buy commercial corn in the market because sometimes it cannot reach on the next harvest.

We help clean our farm during summer time here in the Philippines that falls in April and May because it is our vacation from school. We usually wake up 5:30 in the morning so that we are at our farm at six and go back home at eight to nine which the sun rise up already. We prepare our farm for the rainy season that will start on June.

Lesson learned: Do not waste the food on your table because the farmer is sacrificing a lot in order to have that food.
