Day 1 of Freewrite: Toothache Prompt

This is officially the first free write that I have done to go along with the free write challenge that is going on that I will talk about later in the post!

I feel that everyone out there has had a toothache of some kind in their life. To me it is some of the worst pain that I have ever experienced and sometimes going to the dentist doesn't do anything to help. The most recent example of this that I can remember is when I got my wisdom teeth out a few years ago. Obviously wisdom teeth is a pretty obvious example to think of when talking about tooth aches, but bare with me . All four of my wisdom teeth were coming in and one of them ended up being infected. I knew it was time to get them out, but I wasn't near my usual dentist!

I did some research in the town that I was in at the time to find a reliable dentist. Once I found one I went there and the dentist quickly said that he could take them all out right there and then! Now this is where my experience is significantly different from others! The dentist put some shots into my gums to numb them and proceeds to take out all four teeth in under EIGHT minutes. I literally left the dentist office within ten minutes of him starting the procedure. I didn't feel a thing and I assumed I would be prescribed really tough painkillers but he said I wouldn't need them.

This is when I started questioning how great of a place I was at since I always hear people being in so much pain even after painkillers and usually going under when getting the procedure done. Nonetheless, I left with my mouth still slightly bleeding and felt NO pain after. I just took antibiotics and that was it. I was eating solid food later that same day.
