5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: Nose Hair
This is my entry to the freewrite daily. I am going to continue with my fiction writing.
5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: Nose Hair
It's been a while since Butler Mayo is dead. And detective Nori had zero lead on things. And this means it was harder for the detective to admit that she has no clue of the case for the first time.
Autopsy has found no cause for the death. And that is what bugged Nori the most. She was thinking how come something like this goes pass the Autopsy.
How hard killer was thinking to make the death so undetectable?
She went to Dr Maurin in the lab. And she asked what could be the cause of the death?
"It seems his nose hair show some sort of chemical disturbance"
Maurin was unsure about what exactly went there.
"That means the butler was poisoned or entered a place with some chemical?"
Nori was trying to figure things out.
"It seems that way but why this only affected the butler and not the other people". Maurin asked Nori.
"My guess is that his nose had something on it already that lead to this combination to burst. "
Maurin did her test and foudn out that Nori was right.
The nose hair had some chemical which got mixed with the specific gas in the room and affected the respiratory system of the butler leading to death.
"The hint was in the nose hair". Dr Maurin said to the Nori.
"So my years of experience of being Nosy has finally paid off".
Both laughed at the joke.
Note: This story is in just draft now. As I have picked up the prompt word and decided to expand the story from there onward. I am not sure if I ever going to finish this story. But I hope I earn enough steem dollars from here that I can do this full time and proof read and present it properly. As it's current state I am sticking with keeping stories short.

Sometimes keeping stories short makes it possible for us to delve into more topics and genres until we find one that really sticks with us!
I am really impressed with the detail in your story from a little prompt! Great job!
I am learning a lot to write outside "horror" stories using these freewrite prompts. I hope to publish short stories book some day. I am glad that you liked it. Thank you :)
These freewrites have brought out a side of my writing that I never knew I even had. It's a fantastic exercise that takes us out of overthinking it!
Well done!! The way you brought the nose hair into this!!
