Who is to blame?
Day 445: 5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday - Prompt: the big freeze
Timer starts
The big freeze was upon the planet. people started to panic and the animals made noises and ran towards places they thought would bring them warmth. Some squirrels even forgot their shyness and took shelter in human houses. The trees soon dried up. The winds were very cold and people broke branches of dried up trees to build a fire in open places so that there was warmth.
The news channels were doing their bit to increase the panic and the government had nothing to say. People blamed climate change. The rich and the poor were both feeling cold but the poor had little to eat and not enough clothes to wear.
The big freeze was hard upon the world. Water froze and nothing could be done about it. People prayed but there was not enough good karma to balance out the bad, was there?
