Down the memory lane
Day 443: 5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday - Prompt: apple
Timer starts
The apples were red. It was so tempting but then it had to be plucked before the sunset. She was alone. She sang a song to remove the loneliness. Memories of her childhood made her both happy and sad. Her siblings and she used to love plucking apples and enjoying the fresh ones with so much relish and then their mother would bake them apple pies and all. It was so much fun but so shortlived.
All of them grew up and went their different ways and then they hardly got together anymore but today was different. They were all coming and had decided to stay at the farmhouse which she was now looking after their parents had passed away.
She hurried home to make an apple pie.
