Another 5minute freewrite: MONKEY IN THE SHADOWS.

Mark and his friends visited Africa to celebrate his eighteenth birthday, and one of their stops was Kenya, where they came to see the abundant wildlife which they have heard so much of, while in the states.

During their Safari trip, Mark being the adventurous one had wandered a little too far from the group, and couldn't trace his way back and so he was lost in the jungle.

His dad pulled all the resources at his disposal, it was as if there was a national emergency, every safari unit and every concerned energy was searching for Mark, but night was drawing near and he wasn't found yet.

Deep in the jungle, he was in danger, something was coming towards him from the bushes, the grasses were moving, what ever it was would definitely kill him.

As the beast got closer he started screaming and whatever it was stopped moving. After sometime, his adventurous nature got the better of him, he decided to check it out and when he got close enough,he parted the grasses and the beast started screaming, and behold it was a danm monkey.

It had been a monkey in the shadows scaring him all along.
