Another 5 minutes freewrite: "THE LOVE OF THE COIN".
In every thing we do, we are all driven by one common goal and that is to get the coin. Without the coin, life would be very unpleasant in so many ways, we may not have access to so many good things of life and even our contemporaries would make a laughing stock out of us.
But then is it really all about the coin? Should the coin be the sole motivation we have in life?
Sometimes when I look at the length people go just to get this coin, it really begins to make me wonder whether it's really worth it. The killings, the destruction of human lives and properties just so that we could get material wealth has really become a thing of concern.
People have become so ruthless in pursuit of wealth, that they are ready to do anything, and I mean anything just to get it. Little wonder it is said that the love of money is the root of all evil, but then imagine a world without money, how can we survive in such a world.
In as much as we want to make wealth let us not allow it to become the sole purpose of our living, have you ever sat back to reflect and say, "all the money I have made so far, what have I been able to achieve with i, how many lives have I been able to affect or impact with the wealth I have accrued so far.
Do not allow yourself to be driven by insatiable lust for the coin.

I couldn't agree with you more. People will sell their soul for the almighty dollar. And there needs to be balance. Take time to enjoy your life with family and friends, even if it means less money. : )
