Is Time An Illusion?
Time seems to go faster as you become older. In fact it’s going so fast now, not only years but decades are blending into each other.
When in elementary and high school time dragged on and it was a race to the exit when the bell donged at three. Time moves deceptively slower when working at an unsuitable occupation or listening to a long dull lecture.
But is time merely an illusion? If we could control time and bent it we might be able to see Jesus’s lecture on the ‘Sermon On The Mount.’ It would be nice to go back to revisit certain people who’s time on earth is over but doing that would not leave much time to live in the present.
What would you do if you got a glimpse of your time in the future? Would you try to change it if you didn’t like what you saw?
Can we change the future or is our time here set in stone as Shakespeare said in the play ‘As You Like it?’

@redheadpei You are so right, when we are young time does drag by, but now it is flying, weeks, months and years go by faster and faster
Yes, time is flying by. It does seem like our concept of time changes as we get older and it actually goes faster. Hope your week is going well @myjob. 😊

I am not sure I want to change the future, it is as it is meant to be @reheadpei.
I don’t think we can change it very much Angie. I’ve had premonitions of future events when a terrible tragedy happened close to my heart but nothing could stop it from happening.

Howdy redheadpei! Shakespeare is right but I still think we can changer our future. I think it's not just our age but I think everything about the world is speeding up. That's okay, it keeps us sharp!

It has a way of sneaking up on us but we don't realize it until we get older!
I don't think Steemit helps anything. It seems like steemit speeds everything up,
a couple days on steemit is like a week in the real world!
