Five Minute Free Write ~ Theme: Eyebrow(s)   

For whatever reason, when I see the word “eyebrows”, I think of my grandmother. This may not seem odd to you, but it’s sort of odd to me because I remember that my grandmother never really had any eyebrows. I think she may have had a few eyebrow hairs, but she always would pluck them, and then draw in eyebrow lines with eyeliner. That’s what she always did. I have only ever seen one other person who did that. I think she was a barista I had one time a few years ago. I remember seeing her and her drawn-in eye brow lines, and thinking “Huh. My grandmother did that, too.”   

Thankfully, I have a full set of normal eyebrows. I used to pluck a few of my eyebrow hairs that are off to the side, so that all my eyebrow hairs seemed more uniform and there weren’t any “stragglers” on the sides. But, I usually don’t bother with doing that anymore. There plenty of other things to worry about.
