The body needs water to function properly. If you are over weight, , or low sodium levels in your blood and fluids, you may get dehydrated. A diet low in salt and fat, like low-sodium diets, is one way to reduce its risk. Buy and eat low-salt, low-fat foods and avoid salt and processed foods that are high in salt.
With reasonable water intake, you should be able to avoid it. However, drinking too little water can cause dehydration, as it decreases the amount of water that the body can use for energy.
water which is carried by the brain and body fluids, gets into the blood. The brain uses the rehydration process for more than all other functions. The brain can be dehydrated by not drinking enough fluids, by eating too many sugars, salt or by not getting enough sleep.
The symptoms of thirst and desiring fluids are similar, but the ability to feel hunger and to desire water is different in every person. Desiring fluids, specifically water, is a regular physiological process. Some people who are either not thirsty or do not want to drink water may lack the necessary parts of the brain's thirst mechanism to release the chemical
