John had always wanted to join the Army, same with Jude and Rick. They were just fresh out of the university and had applied for Short service to gain entrance into the military. They began self training, trying to keep body fit as they had all heard that it's only the best fit that would be taken, obviously after their mental and IQ examination. The three boys prepared and finally the examination day came.

The examination was quite as expected and everyone did their best. But not everyone would be successful, proceeding to the second phase which was IQ test. John and Rick scaled through, but not Jude. He was out of the examination. Time for IQ , it's was a simple yet confusing question. They were asked to DESCRIBE A BIRD this was a question which definitely had many answers. A bird could mean anything, even a code word.

After the examination, all participants were out. Rick decided to ask John what he had written. He simply said he described a bird to mean a drone. Now Rick was feeling stupid because he had actually described the normal bird which we all know, A living creature. It was no suprise John was shortlisted and Rick wasn't. Rick couldn't believe that a simple question like describe a bird had cost him his chance at joining the military.

N/B: this actually took more than 5 minutes. It was a though prompt.
