RE: Prompt of the day “Broken” - If The Most Successful Are Only Joke Tokens!

in #freewrite6 years ago

My feeling is that the speculators' P of V is off kilter to that of the collector or holdler. The value of a token is the value you give it. If it makes you giggle and try to make merry while sprinkling Drama Tokens on tense situations then my advise is to pay what it takes to do so.

Having never looked at the steem-engine charts of what tokens are available my feeling is that what one should give better focus on is what use a token is to you; not a token to fiat conversion.

My holdling of the @dlux-io token has been slowly increasing both as a delegation ROI as well as periodic purchases with STEEM.

Anyway, shit coins normally fall off their exchange positions, perhaps some way of keeping the list graded on transaction volumes or something would make it a more palatable read for speculators.

I just feel as if the joke tokens take away credibility from any of the real ones when looking in from the eyes of an investor.

My feeling is that account power ups are the real investors of STTEM. Anyone else should be investing in Proof of Work in my opinion.

Of Steem itself yes but those looking at investing in the projects built on top of Steem with these SteemEngine tokens such as the Actifit one must first sift through the garbage to find anything worthy....

Some type of grading may work so that the shittier the token the deeper in the list it will be hiddem.
