”I love the United Arab Emirates!"
Why is that so?
This experience is only one of the many reasons why I am still here in the UAE for more than six years already.
One Emirati (expats people like me call them locals) came inside the shop and did the window shopping. Well, I said window shopping because he did not buy anything but we had a good conversation on what he needs and the information he wanted to know.
After which, before leaving he said, "Thank you, boss!"
Satisfying words, isn't it? Who would not be satisfied if you here such words despite the fact that you are only a foreigner in their beloved country yet, they regard you as equal, and they treat you as if you are also their citizen?
The bottom line is that, in a multicultural country, if the local people have hearts full of love for humanity, and their core values are deep planted inside their hearts, they will adapt ethical values from other races and discard those unethical ones. They will regard other people coming from other countries as their valuable partner in building their nation towards success and prosperity!
No wonder, United Arab Emirates is one the greatest and peace loving nations in the Middle East!
What's more? They have this hastag #yearoftolerance. Well the hashtag speaks for itself.
