You walk so swiftly as the winds you carry
The hurt you sheltered and the pain you bury
Trusting only in your instincts to guide your path
But alas, you laugh and watch as time pass
So eager to blend in with your surrounding
That you lost yourself to the hounding
You wear your metaphorical glasses to help you see
But these glasses weren't meant for me
You carried on without even a subtle goodbye
I trusted in your guidance out of this prison of mine
You knew that it wasn't meant to be, which is fine
But next time please,
Don't waste my time.

Yeah, sometimes I thinks its a waste of time, but that wasted time makes you who you are in that point in time. So the question becomes, was it really a waste?
