Ashes - Day 97: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: bowl
These pictures of us with heart and soul
Two lost souls in the ingredients of a burrito bowl
Hands held tightly in fear of letting go
Of being reminded of a love, a haunting foe
For my trespasses as they cross over the line
Forgive my walls, I don't want to hurt another time
Too fragile this heart pounding with an eagerness
To share a love again and lose this weakness
My mind wanders in alleyways in search
A love like yours to call my earth
A land, a place for my heart to call home
For loving you is written in my genome
Tear down these walls, and no longer build alone
You are my anchor, my life, my building stone
My heart is yours, as I leave behind the masses
Love you till the day I die and turn to ashes
