Free Write Tuesday prompt Library
This is my post for #freewrite Tuesday prompt Library by @mariannewest
Does anyone go to the library anymore? We use to go a lot, my husband likes to read true stories. I like to read but was always interrupted where I would have to read the same sentence over and over, so I gave it up. Even now with just the two of us, if I try to read he wants to talk, it is hopeless. Our library had free movies, that is what I checked out.
Now everyone has a computer and can look up anything they want to read about so why go to the library. Checking out movies are a thing of the past. I guess if you do not have a computer you can go to the library and use theirs. I would say technology has hurt the libraries.
Yesterday after my husband says " I'm watching porn" I think this is out of character but whatever floats his boat. But I just reply, uh ok. And he says his rabbits have matured. He has been watching the baby rabbits outside his window for months now. And yesterday one was trying his best to mate with the other one, he said it got up behind her and was there for about 3 seconds and she laid down and rolled on her side. My husband said she was not having it, he says she told him your not making me a mother, not today buddy.
This morning he looked out his window and a bobcat was walking across our yard, I told him I hope his rabbits are good at hiding.
The old fisherman finally managed to go fishing today, and I felt so bad. I was rowing in to anchor on a rock pile and saw his boat coming straight for the rock pile when he saw me he turned and went on. I asked at the fish house what he caught and they said he told them he never got a bite from a trout. They also told me when he tied his boat to the dock, somehow he fell out of his boat, he had his cell phone in his pocket so it is no good now. Luckily he did not get hurt.
I caught this redfish but it was too big so I threw it back.
I caught 30 trout that weighed 46 pounds and one legal redfish
I live in the city so don’t see very much wild life but I do get a chuckle when I see the male pigeons strutting about trying to impress the females with their colourful plumage only to have the females
fly off as fast as they can.

I unfortunately don't go to the Library very often unless I need to do some serious research on a computer as I don't have one
Not enough solar power to run. I mostly go there to make copies of important stuff.
I would however love to be able to spend time at the Library and check out books. I hope someday to be able to have time to read...🤗.

Hi @myjob. That sentence of a bobcat walking across the yard was a shocker. He must be hungry to come out like that.
The rabbits are good entertainment. Hubster likes to see them around the yard too. One is so tame he waits at the back deck every evening for me to give him an apple. I cut it up in slices and toss it out on the grass. I worry he will get killed like the last one that became so tame.
@redheadpei the bobcat did look skinny, I hope he leaves the rabbits alone but I doubt it. I love the fact you can tame a wild rabbit. We had a watermelon that was not good so my husband cut it in slices and set it by the woods and the next day all that was left was the rind, he said it looked just like a person ate it. He thinks it was coons.
People still go to the library, and our adult summer reading program just had its first of three monthly drawings. One of our regular patrons got a canvas tote bag, a beach blanket, some snacks, and a thermos bottle.
@jacobtothe It is good to hear people still go to the library, I was thinking technology pretty much killed the libraries.
