Free Write Friday Prompt System

This is my post for #freewrite by @mariannewest Friday prompt system....
You would not think that by being a fisherman, you would have a system, but we do and everything has to fall in its own place to make things go right. When trout season starts the system works like this. My husband trailers off to another town so in the mornings he has to drive where he keeps his bait, parks his truck. Then he hooks up his pumps, he has his bait well filled with saltwater, with pumps running he walks down a long dock to get his bait, he fills a 5-gallon bucket with water and picks his bait holder up and dumps his bait in the bucket. Now he has to hurry down the dock and get the pigfish dumped in his baitwell before they start to die. He uses two pumps when trailering off, so if one quits he has a backup pump to keep his bait alive. Then he drives 30 to 40 miles away, puts his boat overboard. He has a plug that he opens up and puts one pump over the stern in a holder. The pump he sets overboard pumps water into his baitwell, the plug he pulled out lets the water run out of his boat, so fresh water is pumped into his baitwell all day. He will fish all day or until a thunderstorm starts to develop. Before he pulls his boat out he will plug the hole and set the stern pump back in the baitwell and hook them both back to the battery. He drives back to the dock, fills his bucket with water and catches all the bait out of the baitwell to put in the bucket and has to rush down the dock and put them back in the holder. Then he smashes up two crabs and puts in the holder, to feed the bait. If he has another holder with bait, he smashes two more crabs and feeds them. Then he will drive to the fish house and weigh up his fish. Then he gets a tote and fills it 1/4 way with ice packs his fish in the tote, drags them in the cold room and puts more ice on top of them. He now drives home and before going in the house he has to hook his battery to the charger so it will be fully charged in the morning. Now he cleans up his boat, fixes anything that broke, goes in the house, gets a beer and most evenings sits outside watching whatever nature has to show him, birds, lizards even spiders.
He put 36 pigfish traps over yesterday and left them overnight, he ran them this morning and caught 2 little bitty pigfish. so all the traps are in his boat. It is not looking good for having pigfish to go with on opening day.
