The Red Scarf Of Hope (5 minute freewrite)
Prompt: A Red Scarf
Weekend Single Prompt Option
The red scarf is a thing of magic and beauty. It has been with me everywhere, all around Europe. I have had this for a long time and I will use it until it falls apart.
It signifies hope, belonging, never giving up, believing in the impossible. If we all have hope in our hearts, “You'll Never Walk Alone.”
Yes, we have all seen the impossible together. That night in Istanbul was a night of legends. They told us that it is was all over, but that was not the final whistle.
…...and even when the final whistle blows and it has not gone as our way, there is another day. Another day to believe together. To hope again for the glory.
There are 96 people up in the sky who are looking down on us and they are making sure there is still hope. Because people never gave up fighting for their justice. They never walked alone.

For those people who are not familiar with football, this is about being a fan of Liverpool Football club. This is an emotional tale of hope.
The 96 people up in the sky refers to the supporters who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster of 1989. Finally, justice has only just started to prevail after tireless campaigning by families of the victims.

Beautiful post :)
Hopefully we can continue to build and become a top European team once more.
They could win the Champions League this year. It is a knock competition and they are able to score at will against anyone.

It is a very sad story. 96 fans were killed during a game in 1989, The Hillsborough Tragedy. The press blamed the fans. But the fault was with the police. The truth only came out recently and there will be prosecutions.
Happy New Year, it's midnight here soon. I'll do the above freewrite tomorrow, and I have two more optional freewrites stored on Google Docs which I'll post tomorrow.
That is very sad!!
Yes, I'm going to add an explanation to this one.
