The story so far

As a young boy, Thomas received an Atlas from Santa Claus. He loved the present. He is now a young man and has been told that he should put his finger on a place that he would like to go. He also needs to believe.

Thomas put his finger on Rome.

Moments later he receives a phone call to tell him that he has won two tickets to Rome.

The Atlas Part 2
The Health Shop

Thomas is safely in Rome but he couldn't find anyone to go with him on such short notice. So he decided to explore the city on his own.

He took his Atlas with him, because he wondered about trying it again. That night, when he was back in the hotel, he opened it.

He wanted to try again to see if the Atlas really was magic. He put his finger on Amsterdam. This time he had no problem believing that it would work.

He waited for the phone to ring, but nothing.

“Maybe it will ring in the morning,” he thought to himself. “I'll wait until then.”

When Thomas fell asleep, he started to have a vivid dream. He dreamt that he caught a train that took him over to Amsterdam. At the end of the dream, he arrives at the station.

“Wake up,” says the guard.

Thomas looked around. He was really awake. On a train. Which is at the station. He looked around.

“Amsterdam?”

Thomas was stunned. Did he really travel in his dream? This Atlas must be really good.

He wondered if somehow he would meet the man with the beard, just to get an explanation. However, he wanted to be careful about telling anyone, in case they thought he had spent too much time in the coffee shops.

Thomas decided to explore the city. There was a health shop. He decided to walk in.

“Does anything take your fancy?” asked the shopkeeper. “Or anywhere?”

Thomas looked around.

“It's you? How did I get here?”

“You believed,” replied the man. “Brace yourself, this is just the beginning.”

“Who are you?” asked Thomas.

“I am the shopkeeper.”
