The Adventures Of Benny The Banana (Freewrite Story)

One day, a banana called Benny, decided to go on adventure. There was no point sitting in a fruit bowl ready to be eaten. Benny may as well explore the world.
Fortunately, Benny has a thick skin to keep him warm.
He sneaked out of the back door and walked down the footpath. He saw an apple that he recognised. His name was Adam.
“Hello Adam mate,” said Benny. “What are you doing here?”
“I'm on the run,” replied Adam the apple. “It was an adventure or be eaten.”
“Adventure it is then. Where shall we go?” asked Benny.
“Let's explore the country.” replied Adam.
“It is a shame that we're the only ones going,” remarked Benny.
“Yes,” replied Adam. “There's Paul the peach, Brian the blueberry……”
“......and his twin brother Bruce,” interrupted Benny.
Benny then shared a thought.
“Maybe we can go back for them.”
“Brave,” said Adam. “Very brave, but it is the right thing to do.”
They arrived back at the kitchen. Benny made his way to the fridge. Adam went to the fruit bowl. They rounded up all of the fruit and made their way out the back door.
They walk down the footpath, but they are greeted by a homosapien called Mr Hungry.
“Where are you all going?” asked Mr Hungry.
“We were about to go on adventure,” replied Benny. “Please don't eat us.”
“Go,” said Mr Hungry. “I will buy more fruit. Send me a postcard.”
“Thank you,” said Benny the Banana. “What a nice man.”

Oh? Not all fruits we encounter are eaten? I wonder what would the meat eaters say. I wonder if the fruit and vegans are happy with this. I hope these runaways find themselves somewhere useful before they rot.
Originally, they were going to be eaten after being betrayed by Larry the lemon. 🍋

Ugh, I'm sure it was because of his sour gripping or whatever sour things he has going on.
Oooow that was so sweet! I kept being afraid that some human might come and eat them, I'm so glad he did not! :D Well, to be honest, I'd love to get a postcard from a bunch of fruit on an adventure, too!
