No Life Forms Are Home Alone (Freewrite Story)

“Lock the door behind you.”

Everyone had left for the weekend to go to the wedding. The house would be empty all weekend. There are no life forms.

There are some toys.

“Ok guys,” said Darth Vader. “Let's have a party.”

“Why don't we take over the house instead?” suggested a Stormtrooper.

Then silence. The front room door is being unlocked. In walks Daddy, he has come back to collect Mummy's hat. She left it behind on the bed.

As he left the house Daddy shouted, “No Toy Stories!”

“Awwww” said all the toys. That was it. They did not come to life over the following days.

There was also no annoying child taking the house apart.

In fact, this leaves us without any story. Nothing except silence, and then.........

Smash

It is the back door window smashed with a brick. In walks a person in black with a sack. A crook. A thief. What will they steal?

The thief heads up to the bedroom of Mummy and Daddy. Jewellery. The thief wants all the jewellery. Quickly does it and then run.

She doesn't get far. There is a life size robot at the door.

Her only hope is to exit through the window. She manages to open it and jump out and land on a hedge.

Unfortunately, for the thief, the police are waiting outside.

Anyway, that was lucky, the Robot was meant to come with us to the wedding but we decided yesterday that it would stay. Thankfully, leaving the robot home alone has saved the day for Mummy and Daddy.

It was just a shame that the thief turned out to be my Auntie. Hopefully the judge will be nice to her.
