Freewrite 5 min prompt: Mice

The mouse is always considered to be one of the cleverest creatures on the planet earth. You may have watched the cartoon view which depicts the struggle between Cat (Tom) and Mouse (Jerry). In Tom and Jerry movie, it is always Tom which chases Jerry but without any success as Jerry is too clever to be caught.

Here I am going to tell you a story about a group of three mice which would always visit our home to eat food and to inflict losses on us in the form of nibbling our clothes. Two of them were less clever and we caught them easily through a mouse trap but the third and the last one was extra-ordinary clever. We tried several times to catch him alive or dead by sticking food in the mouse trap but our mission got no success. We then changed the food but still with no positive results.

One of my friends told me that we should try to mix poison in the food to kill that clever mouse. I acted upon the advice and mixed poison with food but the result was still not what I expected. I don’t know what kind of mouse was that because he never eaten the food mixed with poison. Probably he had a laboratory to check food before eating.

Finally, another friend of mine gave me a perfect suggestion and that was to hire a cat for this mission. I hired the cat but with some pre-conditions from her. The preconditions included providing her a cup of milk and some meat daily. I agreed to the conditions since we were so tired of that mouse. Finally, the cat succeeds in its mission which ultimately meant that we succeeded.
