Freewrite 5 min prompt: Detective
A detective is a person who investigates crimes and tries to find out the real culprit.

Today I am going to tell you a story of a mini-detective who was my class-fellow. We were in 4th class and that friend was so curious in nature that he would collect information about all the kids in the class and would use that information to annoy them in funny ways. He somehow found out that I have a severe phobia of lizards. He used this phobia of mine to irritate me. He bought an artificial lizard from the market and once as I was writing an assignment in the class, he somehow managed to drop that lizard into my clothes. Since I was busy in the assignment I at first did not notice that there is something in my clothes but as I was done with the assignment and moved a bit, I felt that there is something in my shirt and freaked out. I became angry and we started physically fighting with each other.
The principal called both of us to the office and asked both of us to leave the school. We were allowed to return after taking our parents along but one question which I always discussed with him for years was that how he found out that I have a phobia of lizards. He always answered,” Afterall I am a detective”.
When I was nearly the same age, I liked to play detective with a magnifying glass, but I was not at all good at finding clues!
