Day 2. 5 min freewrite: Paper

in #freewrite6 years ago

Paper is a material which has been the medium for the transfer of knowledge for centuries. Even though the Internet and other digital media have been invented, the importance of paper has not been reduced even an ounce but today I am not discussing the historical importance or the benefits of paper rather I am a discussing a sort of a funny story or sometime we would call it a tragedy attached to “paper”.

The story begins when we enter the class and wait for the teacher to come. I along with my friends were in the middle row of the class and thus we could easily hide behind the chairs and had the freedom to do what we want to do. One of our friends who always had the urge to make mischief in the class tore a page from the notebook and made a “Flying Jet” out of it. He then lofted the flying Jet for it to make a flight. Unfortunately, the flying paper Jet went straight towards the teacher and hit him on the head. The teacher slapped our friend and ordered him to go out. He then diverted his attention towards the whole middle row and ordered us to leave the class too and never show him our faces. He then forgave all of us but the story still re-ignites in my mind whenever I meet my friend or that teacher.

We have some beautiful childhood memories attached to the Paper. I and my siblings would make Jets or boats from the paper. Then we would launch those boats into the small canals and would go all the way along with rowing boats to see how much they traveled in the rain. The one traveling the more would win the competition.

Lots of love. Stay blessed.

Some things you just never forget. Fun story! I also had so much fun with paper back in the good 'ole days, when life was so simple.
