Day 725: 5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday - Prompt: pecan

When I read today’s prompt I remembered this old joke…
Once upon a time, there was a pecan plantation, surrounded by a tall fence to prevent thieves. In addition to the fence, the plantation has a guard that walked around the trees, to make sure no sneaky thief is stealing tasty pecans.
Once, when the guard did his morning security round, he noticed the invader. The guard chased the thief until the fence and when the thief jumped on top of it, the guard was able to grab the perpetrator by his sack.
“Who are you?” the guard inquired.
The perpetrator only breathed heavy.
“Who are you?!” the guard reiterated and squeezed the perpetrator’s sack even harder
The perpetrator ground his teeth and moaned but didn’t give in
“Who are you?!!” the guard screamed and squeezed his testicles so hard that they were ready to rapture
Finally, the perpetrator broke in tears and squeezed “I am dumb, understand! Dumb”
That’s how I feel when prompted about pecans. Friends, when I’m faced with the necessity to speak about them I feel really dumb. )))
Yikes! Even though I am a female cat, I can still feel the pain. : )

There is actually a centuries-long argument about what is more painful childbirth or a kick in the nuts. Men usually think that kick in the nuts is worse and utilize the following argument that I find quite compelling...
Every couple of years after experiencing the childbirth pain women might say "Let's have another baby"
But no man in the world would ever say: "Let's have another kick in the nuts" )))
