Stranded on the Sofa like Whales with Planktons Indigestion
@broncnutz was the first whale I “met” on steemit. But he wasn’t a whale when I bumped into his posts, he was a dolphin (I’m pretty sure).
He had some readers and his work was entertaining and highly valuable for a crypto newbie like me who knew NOTHING.
He was fun to interact with. But then, he put his money where his mouth was and invested to whale size.
His comment section is now filled with lowly planktons spamming for an upvote. Worse. My comments are no longer seen! His comment section does leave one with indigestion.
The channel is still very informative, and you still get lots of information by sifting through the comments, and you still get great nuggets of information...
That was today’s 5-minute freewrite as hosted by @mariannewest. I didn’t quite get to finish and formulate my thought today, as the topic was difficult to chew BUT when you do freewrites like this, the awkwardness is part of the fun.
Thank you for all your visits and comments. I visit back ❤️💃🏽💃🏽

How small a Steemian world it is, for @broncnutz was one of the first to show support in my introduceyourself post this week. It can be disheartening for newbies to give their “Hi, I’m new” speech and not have anyone pay much notice. It speaks volumes to his character that he is helping newbies as they are just starting out, especially much more so since I just learned from you that he is a whale. I look forward to learning from him like you did!
Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you were paid attention to, it does make a big difference, especially at the beggining.
this is the first one I read today that took the Steemit approach and loved your true story for your start on steemit. Thanks for sharing and yes, weird prompts I think are all part of the fun of it!! :D
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoyed reading yours! Shane your comments now get lost =(
I know! But at the same time, I look forward to having the same problem 😂😂😂
Ha ha true bit of a catch 22!
Being so new, myself, I like reading posts like this. It's interesting how communities change over time, so I look forward to seeing how the ones I've "met" change. Good freewrite! :-)
I think you are right @metzli. He started off with less and then brought more in. But comments sections are always swamped for whales; it's a difficult problem to fix.
Here's today's prompt:
