This is my entry for the #freewrite daily challenge by @mariannewest.
Prompt: cigarettes
Back in high school, I smoked cigarettes. It was just the “cool” thing to do. After high school, however, I realized how stupid that really was. They really stink and they are horrible for your health! They’re referred as “cancer sticks” for a reason!
I grew up in time smoking was acceptable and even the “cool” thing to do, but now it is becoming more and more unpopular. Thank Goodness!

We grew up in a whole different time. I'm glad you kick the habit! So did I.
I smoked for a year or two before I got pregnant with my first child. It was the "cool" thing to do back in my day, too. At least we got smarter with age, right?
