Hungry Ghost fed on an Innocent Soul....
Christopher is feeling ravenous, but he has neither money to buy nor kindred to support and feed him.
He is not a desperado, purloiner, robber, shop lifter or a pilfer, but his kindred and his bosom friends abdandoned him.
The reason being he was corroborated by his associate who dislikes Christie getting promotions and earning higher salary.
He was thrown to a forlorn situation. His plight was beyond the description of words.
His present situation made him to break open a house to find if he has any food to eat.
He was unfortunately caught and beaten and jailed.
Bloody professional thieves were successful in robbing away things, unlawful persons are escaping the law while this unfortunate soul was terrifically punished……
Who can justify his action?
NONE!
A tragic and all too common circumstance... It's true, the letter of the law does not always follow its spirit :'( I like the way you wrote about it!

sadly, this happened recently in our state. the hungry man was beaten and he died. no one to punish the offenders
